FS: NIKKO PRE & PWR AMPS - $200
« Thread Started on Jan 18, 2012, 10:08pm »

For sale are the Nikko Alpha series pre and power amps. Classic amps from the 1980s that I no longer need. I have no boxes for these and at the asking price, packaging and shipping wouldn't be worth it. $200 for the set or $100 for each piece.

Local sale in NYC area only.

Good luck with the sale. My father is still rocking his Nikko NR-1000 from like 1980. It has a ton of power and sounds great.

Thanks NGMitter. The stuff has been sitting around in my closet for years. I figure some kid getting into stereo equipment could get started with it like I did so many years ago. Glad to hear your father is still getting good use out of this classic gear!

Sold my Gamma 50 tuner, Beta 50 preamp, EQ and Alpha 230 amp about two years ago. I bought them new in the 80's and sometimes wish I had kept them. Used them to drive a pair of Time Windows and loved the setup. Nikko was a great value and gave lots of higher priced gear a run.

BTW, I got $950 for the stack on eBay. Your price is a great deal.

GLWTS!

$950 for the set! Wow you made out great. Maybe I should post on Ebay, not getting any bites here. Thanks
