Congrats......its a great addition for the music freaks in us all. Its the first thing i look forward to when i walk through the door after getting off work....it gets better everyday as i run through my cd collection.....

FYI: and the floyd box set sounds great ;-)

Nice purchase.

If you have a CD collection you haven't really listened to much in the recent past, that will change -- you'll be pulling out CDs you haven't listened to in years just to see how they sound with the ERC-2!

I've had my ERC-1 since it was released and it's still one of my favorite pieces of equipment. I still prefer it over streaming, but that's just my preference - something about the physical discs (same thing for vinyl) - guess I'm old school ...or just simply old.

I reserved mine approximately 3 weeks ago. I got an e mail on November 30th stating that they would ship tomorrow Dec 6. I placed the order on Friday Dec 2. If you have one on reserve, I would say give them a call if you didn't get an e mail.

I would guess that if you're still seeing the reserve button that they will take care of all of the people who have them reserved first. Then they will change the button to read "buy"

Update:
I called Emotiva on Friday and was told that the ERC-2 was in. It was too late in the day to ship, so it will be shipped on Monday the 12th.

Another update:
When I ordered, I requested that a user manual be included with my shipment. I received a large envelope from Emotiva today(Dec 10) and inside it was the manual for the ERC-2.

Well, today is Dec 12 and still no FedEx tracking information. If I don't get the tracking info by 4:00pm Emotiva time today. I'm going to cancel the order. I have been given three different dates for shipping, and I'm getting tired of waiting.

Totally understand your frustration....I wonder if they are having christmas chaos at Emotiva, trying to keep up with orders....either way it sucks to be in the dark with something you have oredered. Sure hope you get it though as IMO you will likey!

Thanks for your concern. I just got off the phone with Vincent and he told me that my ERC-2 will in fact ship today. I'll be checking my e mail periodically for the FedEx tracking info. Should have the ERC-2 by Thursday or Friday.

You're right. I got an e mail from Cathy stating that they got a container on Friday that was held up in port during Thanksgiving. She also said that they had 20 pallets scheduled for FedEx pick-up today. Looks like there's gonna be a lot of happy Emotiva customers(me included).
