 UPA & USP
« Thread Started on Apr 11, 2012, 1:31pm »

I have been wanting to give these a go. Yesterday, I called Emotiva and have two UPA's and a USP being delivered. I look forward to comparing these to my Cambridge Audio 840a. I am a two channel guy and have wanted to make the move to separates. Emotiva's prices are amazing. I hope I am equally impressed with their sound. I alternate between Klipsch Chorus with BEC tweeter and crossover upgrades, and RF-83's. I look forward to comparing Emotiva with CA.

audiohead, I was using a 3490 with xpa-3 for my two channel. I replaced it with USP-1 and XDA-1, I like the 3490 it's a nice little reciever but the USP XDA combo was a definate improvement in my system. The phono stage is excellent if you do vinyl.
Overall I think the USP is really a good piece of gear!

@hydrocat..Thanks!..just too ask how would you input the XDA-1 with the USP-1?The USP-1 has no digital inputs, but has the 2.1 for a sub, i use a sub with the H/K3490.Adding the XDA-1 would give me the use of the digital for CD player,or do i just use the analog inputs on the USP-1?.How is yours hooked up?Thanks.

Ihave the analogue outs from the XDA run to aux inputs on the USP, the volume of XDA at max using volume control of USP.
