Heh, heh...Homeboy changes gear like others change underwear. Too bad I'm not in Cheeseland else I'd have the benefit of his cast-offs...

Nice looking speaker, but I'll keep my Klipsch RC-64. At least for the time being.

I had that speaker once. Bought it for only 399. An audio store was trying to clear them out. I sold it after the weekend for way more than double in a matter of minutes. I went back to buy the rest of what they had but they were all gone. :( Nice center speaker

for real. It also depends on the location. I find the ones closer to the rich end of Indy have better stuff.

thats a beauty center. i had one with my 100's. One of the best centers if it had the proper power. I also had the Rc64 and really liked it too.

Just curious, does this really blend in better with your RF-7IIs than your RC-64II? I was always pretty impressed with Klipsch center speakers going all the way back to the KV series.

I will know later today looks like its on the truck and out for delivery today , If I like the center I will try to find a place to compare the 20's which was my plan since I have 2 large subs , but now from what I read I better compare this time 20's 60's 100's the guy I got the center from has a brand new pr of matching 60's

If the 60's are V5's, they are really sweet! When I bought my 100's i had a hard time picking between them and the 60's. I then moved on to the Sig 8's but they were a whole different ballgame.
the 20's sound really nice though. Can't go wrong.

Yes the 60's are v5 and if I got the 20's I would get v5 there is a double price difference here also . I really think the 20's in my size room would do okay with my subs and if they didn't I could move them to the back for surrounds and get 60's or 100's

Have you hooked up your new center channel yet? We're all waiting for your review. Please let us have your review before you sell them. ;D

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :) I hope you find the right fit for ya this time but I'm skeptical. I think your taste will require a $3k-$4k speaker for you to be happy. If these don't hit the spot, save up for some Paradigm Signature series, Selah Tempesta, B&W 805D's, Salk HT2's. You might check out Vapor Audio as well," their Breeze" model is affordable(1295 per pair), uses top notch drivers(RAAL tweeter), and has had some glowing reviews and is probably untouchable at that price point. :)
