Hello everyone. I spoke with Emotiva today to see if they would like to have a tracking and reporting solution that we used for the UMC-1 and create a new one for the UMC-200. I am very glad to share with you that our forum has been asked to provide such a feedback tool. We think it is incumbent upon all of us to foster a shared community where we contribute back to Emotiva regarding our personal experiences with the Emotiva products we own. The solution we are providing is based on Google apps and features a Form tool that you can use to register a feature request or an issue. Once you submit the form it will automatically copy into the spreadsheet where we can all have a central repository and share our in home experiences. Please note that we can add questions to the form on the fly and use multiple formats like Yes/No, Grid, Check Box, Scale and such so if you have a recommendation please feel welcome to offer it and I will review with Emotiva to add it. Once the new firmware version comes out I will add it to the form. Thanks so much for your support. Here is the link for the Input Form just press the graphic and go; And, here is the link for the UMC-200 Report just press the graphic and go;

Sorry about that. I changed the security so you can view it. Once I talk to Keith I will add him as a collaborator or other Emotiva staff and they can comment on the entries. Since I am the administrator I did not know that you could not access the data collected in the spreadsheet so I really appreciate you letting me know.
Can someone confirm that you can view the spreadsheet and thanks.

Thank you very much! I added my suggestions and issues, which I experienced so far with the UMC-200.

Just wanted to let you know that, while this isn't being run by Emo staff, we WILL be checking in from time to time and answering questions where appropriate, and your requests and suggestions WILL be seen and considered.

What will happen with all programmed settings like all PEQ settings after the update?
Will they reseted after update or will they be still existing?
Regards
Shinx

Is the balanced sub output always on or is there somewhere in the settings I am missing to turn it on. I found nothing in the manual as well. The unbalanced is good but I have nothing to my second sub over balanced connection.

Anyone one know how to make the UMC 200 go to the right input if selecting an activity with harmony Remotes? It seems it always defaults to the last input utlized, regardless of the activity I choose.
The UMC 1 used to go to the appropriate input, but the 200 needs to have the input toggle used to scroll through. If this has been discussed already and is a known issue, I apologize

kjmelendrez: Balanced is always on, both sub outputs work parallel. neekos: Works perfect with my harmony 555 after some tweaking. You have to set the initial power on delay for the UMC-200 to about 10 seconds - the UMC-200 takes so long to boot. You can also check by starting the same activity again - the input will switch correctly after the UMC has booted. The direct codes for the UMC-200 are uploaded in the harmony database and work without problems. @general: Could we please keep this thread to the intended use and ask specific questions in one of the many threads that are already there? Or could perhaps an extra "Official UMC-200 Q&A" could be opened and stickied...!?

It's been a while and I just got my UMC-200 a couple months ago. I'm not sure where to find the latest firmware, if they're even doing updates still, how to tell which firmware I currently have and what the firmware fixes. If there is a good thread on all this, I have not been able to find any better than this one. Thanks in advance and I apologize if I am straight up missing something.
