Taking photos today of the new Ultra Subs. Here's the front of the 10" sub. They are going into production right now, and may be here late Jan. They are both 'plug and play' type subs, front firing and sealed. They come with two sets of feet, one rubber and one aluminum spikes. Ultra 10 - 300 watts, frequency response 25-200Hz Ultra 12 - 500 watts, frequency response 22-200Hz

Looking good Dann, looking good. Once people start buying these subs, I will have to see whether one of Emotivas offerings will be a upgrade form my SVS SB12-plus.

Can I assume that the silver ring isn't visible with the grill on? I might be a bit worried in a front projection system, with light reflecting off of it. BUT that is not a reason to redesign them. ;D If its an issue I'll use a magic marker.

I'm working with the photos...I'll put up more when I can.

Please tell me this product has a ground in/out switch. Too many subs are prone to the 60hz hum from groundloop issues....................

Price on the subs...
USub10= $399 USub12= $599
As I said, these are in production NOW, and we'll have them hopefully by the end of Jan. After New Year's we'll accept preorders, and offer a discount price on those...

I didn't see a mention of a pass through to feed additional subs. Kind of important with the latest redesign of the XMC, and the one sub output of the UMC, no? Wait, the UMC and XMC will have two, one balanced and one unbalanced. Will both be active at the same time?

Are they black oak or am I seeing some weird reflection? I was thinking these would be the same finish as the rest of the speaker line..

Hi Dann,
What level of distortion was there during the testing? Any chance of a frequency graph?
Thanks!

I'm sorry, that's just ugly. Why couldn't the finish and nice rounded edges match the beautiful enclosures on other Emotiva speakers?
