btw i checked on my display of the belkin pf60 and noticed no difference in standby mode vs. off on the consumption queue.

Here in Perth WA (Western Australia) .21¢ US Plus a supply charge, a charge for using a credit card and a 10% tax takes it to .235¢ US $5 in igloo country Edit: IIRC = if I recall correctly

Sorry for digging up old thread but this may help prospective buyers. My XPA-5 Gen 1 consumes 3.5W in standby and 95W idle. I used a wall meter to measure this.

1KWh here is Singapore is around US$0.16..I have taken currently to switching off the isolator on my direct feed to the listening room where there is a lot of gear including several XPA series amps, some UPA' due primarily to a lot of thunderstorm activity.
for the record the XMC-1 pulls about 30W in fast on and on modes and a lot less in low power standby...I think Imposted this somewhere before many moons ago.
