I did buy them from ACOUSTIMAC. Thanks for the great commments guys. Do they give you a way to mount with an air gap between the wall and panel?

The bass traps or just regular panels? Bass traps. I'm looking to get some but I have this crazy moulding, on the wall behind my speakers, that I have to deal with. If i can get an air gap between the panel and wall I should be good.

The reason I have a air gap behind mine is because I mounted it in the ceiling corner. You can buy the bass traps either corner mount or flat.

bass traps keep the waves from bouncing around the room and cancelling each other out. Makes the bass better yes.

Since we have the same room, essentially, I think we need to have a party at your place so I can learn cool stuff. Your room looks great. Besides I have never heard those awesome speakers. Never actually seen them to be honest.

OK OK. After much debate: I bought a Panny 8000 on cyber Monday. Couldn't pass up the deal and rebate. I am still determining how to "fish" my HDMI and Power to the ceiling. I have confidence in myself and am very determined. Here is a quick shot of a temp setup with the PJ about 17 feet back from a 92 inch bedsheet. (sorry, iPhone 5 pics)
