Just spun up 3:10 to Yuma and remembered how impressive the SQ and PQ are on this movie...

I keep meaning to watch 3:10 again every time I run through the "Emotiva shorts" folder, it's an excellent title sequence. I'm not a fan of watching movies more than once in 10 years though - part of the reason I hate spoilers.

A movie that I like rewatching is "No Country for Old man" from the Coen brothers. * I remember the first time I watched "In Cold Blood"; wow, that was truly shocking! That was a very long time ago, and I was much younger. It was on a Black & White TV too!

...The TV was a white Toshiba, with black edges, and knobs.

Excellent and funny funny movies in a weird way....... ;D

My Left Foot
I love the Coen brother's movies too. They're from a suburb of Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, just a few miles from here.

Ah, Some good ol Truman Capote. I remember reading this book. I found it quite intense. Recently watched: Let the Right One In An absolute gem of a swedish film. Everyone should see this on Blu Ray...or netflix =) TRON: Legacy Go ahead and show off what your theater can do! Clash of the Titans (circa 2010) Ok, so I enjoyed the first one more, but the scorpion scene is a great workout for the Velos and the visuals are great.

I gotta agree on the original "Clash of the Titans". This new one just didn't do it for me.

I've been watching the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. Haven't seen them in awhile and wanted to refresh my POTC facts before I go see the latest one, "On Stranger Tides".

Watched POTC - On stranger tides... As much as I like her, I don't think Penelope Cruz is best suited for the role... wonder why Keira Knightly didn't take it

It would seem a lot of the leading ladies are not wanting to portray themselves as sexy damsels in distress anymore. Look at the new Transformers...no more Megan Fox either. What's next, no Olivia in Fringe next season?

I'm watching Pan's Labyrinth to test the qualities of Samsung's AMP (Auto Motion Plus). Stranger yet is I'm enjoying it in 2.1 on a new smaller LN40D630. A good script does override size and 7.1 sound.

Yes, it does. That's why I can stand Netflix's poor quality.
