Because some adults don't know how to be inoffensive. I would not call those folks "adults."

Much better book than the movie which I agree is awful. I could see how that mindset (militarist) can be fed by such reading material. Now Stranger In A Strange Land is great literature. My favorite Heinlein book. I was hooked on his sci fi work during high school oh so many moons ago. You Grok!

I still think "The Number of the Beast" was a bit of a cop out in the end, but I loved reading the book.

Lets not forget Shark vs Octopus. When you can get the Blu Ray for $4.99 at Best Buy, this is a whole lot of awful in 1080p.

original sin (angelina jolie) body of evidence (madonna, julianne moore) basic instinct (sharon stone, jeanne tripplehorn) embrace of the vampire(alyssa milano) hmmm, doing a little girl watching with a movie loosely affiliated. ;D have you seen any of these movies? yes, the movie is secondary. ;D

Star Wars Ep.1; kept watching and waiting, wanting it to be good, but it never happened, the most disappointed I have ever been after seeing a movie. Meesa thinks that's a bom-bad movie!

^ Gosh, Bob...the poor gal has no nipple. My worst would be " Eraserhead". It wanted to be artsy and profound. It was neither.

I was teasing pcguy for listing an actress with his unwatchable movie and not sure what you mean but certainly open to hearing about it.

Come on now, what train wreck of a movie could you not stop watching. ;D My favorite is Judge Dredd, so bad you are on the bad guys side if you can tell. Hmmm, I really enjoyed it. I don't recall how many beers I had had at the time and I was an avid reader since it first came out in 2000AD, so that might have had some bearing.

Again, I thought the first one was great, the most recent one I would put in this list though.

I was teasing pcguy for listing an actress with his unwatchable movie and not sure what you mean but certainly open to hearing about it. It starts with "doing a little girl" which is not what you were trying to say I'm sure. If you put maybe: doing a little "girl watching" .... it would sound a little less "open to interpretation". I think that's what the comment was about.

So mine would be "Broken Flowers" aka "watching someone drive along a highway while your brain goes numb waiting desperately for SOMETHING to happen".
I refer to it as "Boring Flowers".

I guess I am a little too naive for my own good and had to re-read that several times to see what you all were talking about but clearly "Girl Watching" was what I was teasing about.

I've seen so many what with Netflix. Gratefully I do not remember what their titles were or much about them. Some are so bad that they were good.
