Only the truly rich had remotes in the 60's. Mark When I was a kid my next door neighbors had one of the first TV's with a remote. Looked a lot like the early remote pictured. You pressed a mechanical button which had a mechanism inside which made a loud very metallic Ka-chink the sound is what made it work. Often when their dog would run in the room its dog tags on its collar would rattle & jingle and cause the TV to turn OFF or change channels.

Oh, Papa wants that retro cabinet something awful. With that cabinet and the correct internals, that would become the hub for your entertainment system, the ripper, the storage device and the source. How do you go about ripping BluRay? Yes this is the central hub for my entertainment system. I run the OS on an SSD and I have two 1TB storage drives in there, one for music and one for movies. I use sync toy to backup identical drives in my office desktop. I dropped a blu-ray drive in there for ripping movies using Make MKV and Handbrake. I believe you can add an LED HUD to the case but since I'm using the Transporter/Logitech media server I don't need a monitor to run music.

Hi, my name is Alex, I am from Moscow. This is my first HT setup, making this apartment for one year, so I had different power lines for several groups, 100v for A5 with 1500 Wt huge converter located in other room, 120v for Sharp, and 2 equal lines for 220v about 3000 Wt for others. Fronts are Technics Se-a100 speakers made in 1978. I am looking for it about one year and take pair in mint condition, like new. For fronts I use Technics A5 amplifier made in 1980. Love this indicators and warm light)) For surrounds I use Emo UPA-500 amp. Surrounds are in-selling 8’’ to special construction, with sealed volume for speaker, about 15 liters each. For the left back I use outdoor Emo speaker. Center is from Emotiva. Sub from Emotiva. Processor is UMC-200, use EmoQ for tuning system, it is really nice, waiting for XMC-1. Dune HD base 3d with optic out to umc200 Apple TV for iTunes content Logitech Harmony smart control for controlling all this stuff, except A5)) All connects is X series Emo connects. I am pretty happy with this setup, HT is amazing with 80' screen and 7.1 sound. Stereo the same, really love sound of this old a100 with horns, sound scene is very wide even with low volume level, very detail and true. Trying to make clean system, step by step making connects not visible for listener, so sorry for Dune connection, some of them you can see. Any suggestion about system from experts and users are welcome)) Here is shot vid with A5 indicators playing)) Sorry for my english))

I love them, neighbors probably not so much! Still trying to find the sweet spot, so far they are taking everything I throw at them with the XPR-2.

Looks like you have them towed out a little? Make sure they are exactly the same and level, etc. Could just be the pic. Also whatever is on either side of the speakers I would move if you can.
