Jason I think when he said simple, he meant elegant, uncluttered, and clean! ;D Either you have hidden your wires well, or you took the picture before you wired it up!

It was actually photoshoped for other purposes a while back But i prewired everything so the wiring is actually somewhat neat. Jaosn

Jason - is that the AV123 X-Series Sub? I am looking for something small to compliment my Neat Motive 2 speakers.
Right now, I run a Sunfire True Sub Mk II which is small, produces tons of impact but is an eyesore in my room.

Yes it is Mark, its a great little sub - I love it. Does everything I want it to do. I live in a townhouse with at least two true walls and 6 pieces of drywall in between but the neighbors can still hear it even when turned up 50-60% or so. It really wont overpower you or win any deciblel contests but is very tight and defined, and looks great. I dont think you could go wrong considering the VERY reasonable price. Jason

Thanks Jason. Think I will order one and see how it performs in my room.

Mark, the folks at AV123 will appreciate it. They seem to be a great bunch. I check out the forum sparingly and have bought all my AV123 equipment used from the classifieds forum. The owner Mark is a great guy and veeeryyyyyy reachable, servicable, available, friendly, and a just a great guy from my somewhat outside opinion.
I dont think you'll be unsatisfied with the performance, build, or looks and XSub knowing what its limitations are. My room is 14' x 20' open to a large kitchen and foyer, so the volume is quite large; The xsub provides enough oomph for my needs... granted i've never been one to require a large SVS or HSU 0 - but for its size and looks it'll get me by until my stand-alone house demands an aforementioned sub. As long as you aren't expecting room shaking bass and to really feel the low end I'd say the x-sub is fine.
I personally am looking into replacing it with something that has a bit more on the ultra low end and moving the x-sub to my computer system. But since this is dependent on money I'll be waiting quite a few months or maybe years.
In a smallish room the x-sub is great as long as you don't really want to feel the ultra low end.
Of course they don't claim it can go ultra low so this was entirely expected when I bought it, still a great product and wonderful for the price.

How do you add images?

How do you add images? You have to upload your images to a picture-hosting site such as photobucket or webshots. Then you can click on the "insert image" button in a new post to link to the pictures. I'm sure like most forums, this one doesn't have the storage capacity to host a bunch of pictures.

Nice simple setup. What speakers are those?
Those Speakers are Onix Reference 2's in Birdseye Maple! I have 4 Reference 1.5's and would LOVE a pair of the Ref 2's! Perfect match to the Ref 100 Center Channel

Ah...another Rock Band junkie (jnnqm2). How are you doing on the drums? I can pretty much play about anything on Medium now and a few on Hard. It definitely seems huch harder than Guitar Hero, getting the foot involved.
