Right now I have a Martin Logan Grotto sub that I took out of my HT set up and added it to my 2 channel system. I put a free Polk sub that came with my speakers into the HT set up. Well I knew it wouldn't sound as good.. It's bad. I want to replace the Grotto sub in my HT set up. It's servo driven and very good. Would a Emo sub get close to the Grotto feel and sound. If not, any suggestions on a sub. Not buying another Grotto since they are very expensive.

A Rythmik FV12 is only $550 (on sale now for $500). Could get three for the price of a Martin Logan Grotto.

Check out the offerings from SVS on their website. I've had the opportunity to listen to a lot of subs and I think SVS makes the best out there.

SVS had a great offer on the SB-12 NSD subs as a PAIR! A sweetheart offer that would be hard to look away from... You cannot beat this! www.svsound.com/subwoofers/sealed-box/dual-sb12-nsdA pair of subs often does better than any single sub. Definitely....look at SVS! These folks are Subwoofer experts! -Fly

Or indeed the other Rythmik offerings if the OP wants to stay with sealed and servo. Given its for HT, the ported Rythmik FV12 offers more output than the sealed F12.
