I would like to add a powered subwoofer to a 90's vintage stereo system. I have two Dunlavy SC-III towers driven by a Classe integrated amplifier and an additional Classe power amplifier for the lower frequencies. I have a powered subwoofer that I could use for this setup. Could I just use a splitter from the pre-out and run that to the subwoofer?

Yes you can. And use the subwoofer amp crossover and level controls to blend it woth the mains.
