My only complaint with iTunes is that it looks 1990's Linux appearance. Certainly with all Apple does, you would think they could come up with at least a bit more color and a slicker interface. I am indifferent with the iCloud, but Geez that iTunes interface needs a face lift like years ago!

The "new" iTunes 11 interface looks about "Y2K" but only just.
I've been using the tunes extensively since it first came out, and today was the first glitch.
IT produced an "orphan" JPEG file on my desktop that the OS said I was not allowed to delete (despite the fact that no programs were open or using it).
IT also showed an "orphan" album with a single song in its search results that it wouldn't let me open or edit.
Tonight, I'll run disk doctor on both the RAID and the internal HDD to make sure that things are back where they should be. If it has lost data, then I'm an EX iTunes user for sure.
In any case, the interface upgrade may NOT have fixed iTunes propensity to lose or corrupt data.
More follow-up tomorrow...
