Ramatam, if what you describe is such quatum leaf in performance, then USP wasn`t accurate to begin with. Just to remind you from entry level to top of the line from same manufacturer their sound signature remain the same. It doesn't make them battle star galactica.

Spent the last couple of evenings listening to vinyl. I'll just add this. We listened up to the highest levels we cared to listen to. No hardness of tone as volume went up. Just nice smooth sound. Very impressed. Very engaging. And of course things were very nice at "normal" listening levels as well. I am reassured by this pre that vinyl is my medium of preference. Well, that and hires.....
