Hey Jackfish..
Rhythmik is making some nice subs...assuming one has Bass Management elsewhere in the system. Yes?
SVS includes an extremely comprehensive Bass Management DSP into their Subs at no extra charge...and it will fix all sorts of ills...in OUR rooms
For us 2ch guys....SVS is the answer!
Happy Holidays and God Bless you all...

Bass management? While the Rythmik FV12 does not have parametric equalization, all of the rest of the Rythmik subwoofers do. The Rythmik FV12 is $550, the SVS SB1000 looks pretty good for $500. The OP can't afford $3200 for subwoofers.

Bass Management: Adjustable Hi/Lo-pass XO freqs, Crossover slopes, etc.
In addition to all the other goodies SVS put into their DSP...the two real stand-outs IMO are the Room Gain Compensation, and the Hi-Pass delay features When you get these dialed in....nice things happen!
Great feature set on the SVS's, and the best feature of all is that they WORK as they should!
Very Cool stuff!
