My guess is that it will never be "perfect" and therefore it will never be released...

I remember the last time Emo has made a secret warehouse sale last fall, it was to make place for the coming container of XSP-1..... Maybe this actual secret warehouse sale is for the coming container of XMC-1? ? While you are correct about that last secret sale, the sale was on all in stock gear. This is more of a 'get rid of the B-stock gear' sale. There will not be a huge space savings situation after this sale. Then again, I am sure Emotiva doesn't need much warehouse room for the XMC-1 since the pre-order list is so long.

I feel for ya Mamba. My XPA5 has been sitting in it's box since May 1 2012 waiting for the XMC-1. Getting a bit disheartening . None the less, cant wait to get the two together with the Oppo 95. Sure it will be worth the wait.

I thought the XMC-1 had balanced stereo and balance 5.1 See attached. What do you mean "Fully Balance On All Channels"? The RMC-1 will be Emotiva's flagship "Reference Series" processor which is rumored to be an extension of the XMC-1. The RMC-1 will feature all of the what will be offered with the XMC-1, but will be fully balanced on all channels (not just L/R) and have a more advanced version of TACT. Of course, it will also feature the smokin' hot Reference Series aesthetics....

From what we know I can remember, the XMC will utilize a fully balanced topology for stereo (dual differential etc..) but while there will be the ability to use XLR's for surround, they will not be fully balanced.

Seriously, I think in the end we will all be rewarded for the long wait.

Don't tell anyone but Emo just hired that lady from the IRS that targeted all of the Tea Party folks. She is going through the forum posts and will make sure that all of the complainers get pushed back to the bottom of the delivery list.
Oh wait, was this supposed to go in that rumor thread instead? ;D

Now those 2 posts put this wait time in REAL perspective!! And here I am thinking I should bypass the XMC and wait for the RMC. Will they deliver to a care facility?

What's your plan, rattle the dentures out of your neighbors mouth? See if you can make the pills pop out of the little container before "butch" your resident nurse can force em down the gullet? I bet the one advantage to having the nursing home system is guaranteed quality power with hospital grade plugs. :-)
I think the delay is in the 'audio seduction circuity' used for hypnotizing unexpecting wives in to believing it is a necessary and worthwhile purchase. This has to be glitch free prior to release or it may back fire and result in a very high return rate.

All those things have really happened to you? I can't top that list but I can add to mine: 1. Sign up for the pre-order list 2. Bought my first house

Actually, the delay has to do with a semi-conductor problem.

Actually, the delay has to do with a semi-conductor problem. Wouldn't changing that semi-conductor solve the Problem? ;D
