Saw this movie yesterday. Really enjoyed it and thanks to a friend stayed through for both extra scenes. My wife and I probably would have left after the first extra scene like almost our entire theater. I tried to tell people around us that there was more at the very end, but people just stared blankly at me and left.

We were going to go today at 11 AM, but our kids slept it so late and we didn't want to rush to get there. So, we're just lounging around until my son's soccer game. Maybe next weekend!

Saw it Saturday morning 10:05 in IMAX 3D. Loved it. Thor has always been my favorite Marvel character . Can't wait for this on BD. As mentioned by others, the LFE is incredible .

Fit this movie in between college football games yesterday! Yes I thought is was a good movie, however my expectations were high for this movie, and I honestly thought the first Thor was a bit better.

I felt the same way about Iron Man. I guess it's VERY hard to equal the first.

I thought this movie was much better than the first Thor. More action better story just much better overall.

This always happens to me when I have high expectations, which is why I try not to watch trailers for movies I know I'll be going to watch at AMC.

Saw it for a second time tonight. This was a 10 PM IMAX 3D showing. Much more bombastic in there! I think my internal organs are now properly massaged, and my ribs touched my spine several times from all that LFE. NUTS!! Lots of mid-bass slam. I can't wait to experience this film on my system! I'll be seeing it probably two more times over the next two weeks--once with my dad and once with a friend. Then it's time to queue up for the opening showtime of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

being the Thor fan i am, i loved it! my daughter came down to visit from college, grad-school to see it with me and she two loved it. we both did some cos-play and had Mjolnir hammers with us. it was great, people took pictures with us, some wanted to hold the hammers and have us take pictures of them, kids everywhere wanted one it was great! the movie was very entertaining, plenty of action and drama too. i really can't talk about it too much since this site doesn't support spoilers to hide it. it was really good to see the brothers back in action again. i did enjoy seeing more of Asgard and some of the other 9 realms too. the movie had just enough comedic relief as needed, it's just too bad they didn't show "more" of Kat Dennings (there's a lot to see! ) other than that, i was very, very happy. i do hope folks got the reference for the first mini scene tie-in midway through the credits. those in the comic book circles understand what this will mean for the 3rd Avengers movie; very well done Marvel! we did see it in IMAX 3D, not so much for the 3D, but because it was the biggest screen with the best sound system available to us. i'll probably go and see it again, but in either a 2D or perhaps a less expensive "Real3D" theater. if your a Marvel fan, you need to see it to keep continuity in your understanding of the movie based Marvel Universe. you also need to keep up with the mini tie-ins at the films endings as they always point to something important; nice touch Marvel! oh yeah, as usual, Stan Lee is in this one and we loved his cameo! can't wait for this one to show up on blu-ray, day one purchase for me, of course. any doubts, just look at my avatar! Thor: The Dark World: Uncle Solarrdadd Approved!

Thor: The Dark World: Uncle Solarrdadd Approved! I am with you 100% about more Asgard and to me it felt like it was a better story than the first. It seems like there is so much going on in this phase 2 Ultron, Infinity stones, Civil War, cant wait to see how it all unfolds. Now if we can just work in Beta Ray Bill I will be over the moon.
