Purchased Darkside of The Moon last night and what a sonic improvement. Will be hard to purchase regular cds now. I ordered a couple of Blu Ray audio discs and hopefully they will give the same improvement of quality.
On my short list to purchase
Sacd Wish you were here The Doors Kinda Blue Time out

Nice selection. I've often thought of getting Sea Change, I do have WYWH and Time Out, as well as Brothers in Arms, which I recommend.

SACDs can be hit and miss. I have Relaxin' with Miles Davis and it's an awesome recording. I also have Round Midnight and was not terribly impressed. Remember the old adage; garbage in, garbage out. Not all recordings are recorded (or mastered) equal.

DSOM is a particularly good SACD sample, easily the best in my collection, plus it was the cheapest (so far). BIA is also good, both are a must in any SACD collection.
Cheers Gary
