Good afternoon, everyone!
Ok, so I have a question for the group. First, though, let me explain what's going on.
I have had an MPS-1 in my home theatre (5 channels) for a few years, and I love it. Driving it is a UMC-1, which I've had since it first came out. I also have a setup in the game room that currently uses a Pioneer Elite receiver, which has worked well.
Given the opportunity to upgrade to the XMC-1, I have decided to move the UMC-1 to the game room, which means I needed an amp. Although I was initially looking for a UPA-500, since the room isn't that large, I got a great deal on a XPA-5, so I ran with it.
So with that known, here's the basic question. All else being equal, what should be in my home theatre? Should I keep the MPS-1 where it is and toss the XPA-5 in the game room, or does the XPA-5 outperform the MPS-1, in which case I should "upgrade" the primary viewing location?
Thanks!

Mps is 5 mono blocks in 1 case. Xpa has all channels driven by a single transformer. If I was too match similar quality pieces together my choice would be mono's with an xmc. Both amps are great pieces and would work fine in any combination.
