anyone have any ideas? do you think they may be sold as-is no warranty equipment for a song and a dance? or might all the equipment be sent to a recycler for 10 cents a pound? or might they be refurbished and sold with a 90 day limited warranty? just thinkin........... i could use an inexpensive usp-1 out of that mix for my friend chip............. tchaik..................

I would guess these pieces will show up in their secret sales as well as area 51 at Emofest...Just a guess though.

Emotiva ( jadedesign) has already put up some of that used gear on ebay - XPA-1's - XPA-5 - USP-1 - and other stuff as well. When I saw that notice about buying back used gear I was hoping they would offer it up the used gear to the 'faithful' here first. That didn't happen unfortunately. They could have offered the gear at an attractive price and saved themselves the ebay charges.

Good point Ken. Those eBay fees are nasty. On the bright side for us, Jade/Emo has been accepting offers below asking.

Yeah, it would be sweet for Emo to give the cognoscenti* 1st crack at the returned units. And it would generate some serious good will, too. I'd sure like to snag an XPA-5 or a UPA-5 for a good price and help out a fellow Emotivan...
