UPA-500 - What's next... worth waiting?

With this announcement, it looks like the UPA-500 is going to be discontinued: emotiva.com/whats-new/closeout-specials-0

Anyone have any thoughts on whether it's worthwhile to wait for whatever is going to take its place? I'm building a LXMini kit and the unit is supposed to be well matched for the speakers... I just don't want to buy something and lose product support and/or have an amp that isn't as great as whatever comes next... esp if it's only a little bit more $$.

Probably gen 2. I assume. Wouldn't expect a big difference. Note: no facts here, just guesses
