The description says: "doesn’t have any noisy fans to annoy you"
There is a fan in one of the screenshots. It looks to be the same type as other amps (including the Mini-X). Does this fan run at a lower RPM or something similar so it's quieter?

I'm a fan! Seriously though, I suspect the fan is the "low noise" variety which wouldn't be audible during normal use.

Like I posted in the other Fusion Flex Amp thread, you will never hear this fan. You can try but mine has been two feet from my ear for over a year and I have never heard mine. I crank my Mini-X and if you were to search reviews on here about it you will find that all the folks that have this and the other XPA amps say you can not tell the difference. It is an X-Series amp.

Some clarification here...
The fan is used only in over temp conditions, like when you put it in a hot cabinet with no air flow. It normally never runs.
Also, when it does run, the fan has a large diameter blade with a low impeller speed, do it's dead quiet.
So, maybe not the most artful description on the web page, but it is super quiet, and the fan does not normally run.
Its a sweet amp, BTW! Cheers, Big Dan

Yep, I like the look of Fusion Flex ampflifier. Now looking for excuses to build another mini system with it. My involve a tablet, or computer, a DAC and speaker TBD. Another great one from Emotiva.
