Should I be mad that I placed and order on 1-9-15 in hopes that it would arrive on the 14th or 15th when I would be home to receive it and set it up only to find that it is still sitting on the Emotiva shipping dock waiting to be picked up this evening 1-14-15 by UPS? I thought I had read that Emotiva was really good with shipping, I ordered my other Emotiva on Amazon so maybe I am just spoiled since I have free two day shipping with them. At any rate regardless of the shipping problems they should have waited to bill my credit card until my order shipped like other vendors but they billed it on 1-10-15. I called them on the 13th to find out the status of my order and they said there was a glitch so to speak, I figured it would go out that day but no. Apparently for my troubles the extended my e club membership an extra year, which is of dubious value to me, nice gesture though I guess. Maybe I shouldn't be mad but I am. Has anyone else had shipping problems?

Has anyone else had shipping problems? the xpa-5 I ordered shipped out next day ( ordered after 12pm day before) as EMO said it would. UPS ground actually took a bit longer but EMO guys did their thing - very happy. Im sure it happens - holiday time and sales they probably just had a kink and you were the receiver of it. Ive had my amazon next day extra shipping purchases delayed - a week in a recent case. Anyway - hope you enjoy the gear when it arrives you will soon forget about the wait. cheers - happy new customer here.

It's a glitch and not typical experience for me. I doubt it'll happen again to you.

Yes you are spoiled by Amazon 2 day shipping. (I know I am) If I read your comments correctly we are talking about a less than a week delay? Take a deep breath and post back once you have the thing hooked up.

Besides I just finished my normal 10 days straight of work and if it arrives during my next 10 day stretch it is just gonna sit there until I am off of work again.

I understand why you are upset and that is your choice, I normally wait until I have confirmation of shipping to make any plans to change my system, just in case I run into an issue like you did. I will say when I ordered my XPA-7 I never got a tracking number and was about to call after 5 days and just inquire but just before I called the trucking company asked when they could deliver it, so it shipped on time I just wasn't aware. Everyone makes mistakes and it's ok to be upset, but don't let it beat you up to bad.

You are right I am just cranky because I couldn't wait to be off of work hook this thing up and then veg out pushing buttons and enjoying the new toys. I need a beer

I have ordered 5 times from them in the morning and received in Florida 2 days later, maybe its a Snafu when ordering through Amazon.

I have ordered lots of goodies through Emotiva and I have never had much of a wait, even though I wish I could purchase and have it magically appear. I am in Michigan so I realize they are not exactly next door.
Since you ordered on Friday, I would not have anticipated them shipping your order until at Monday regardless so maybe you are just a little over excited....hehehe.
Since it is an amp you purchased, how much is there really involved with hooking it up....outside of the back breaking maneuvers of getting it where you want it. Also, since it is an amp...what buttons are you looking forward to playing with?

Tons of buttons on other stuff, updating settings and testing it out with everything else in the system. If it had shipped on Monday it should have gotten here while I was off of work to receive it. I just hope the vultures don't steal it.

My second Gen XPA-2 was left on the front porch by Fed Ex as the rain was starting to fall. Luckily I had just run to the corner and was right back to save it! Hope you have a great time with your new gear!
