Any major differences between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 of the 1L's? Or is it basically just the black trim?

No real difference. There was a slight hint of a small tweak to the power supply but in the same subject it was told to the user that it should create no audible difference.

I can confirm what gulbulky posted. I asked the question directly of Lonnie and received the same answer. He said you'd be able to see marginally improved measurements on the bench with the Gen 2, but nothing that you'd hear. It was already a Gen 1.5 amp when it was released, with the newer gain structure, etc.
And now the new Gen 2 trim is available mine are all but indistinguishable from the Gen 2s.

yeah, there's no real difference. mine don't even say "gen 2" on the front or back...whoops...just on the manual and the box it came in.

I wish for the Gen 2 variant they would have added two sets of speaker posts to the back of this amp - just like they have on their other monoblocks.
