I want to upgrade to separates and I am very interested in buying XPA-7 and XPA-5 I and Marantz AV8802.
Will I notice a big difference in sound compaired to SC-09TX? The sc-09tx is rated at 200w/ch x 7. My speakers are the Atlantic 8200e THX ultra 7.2.
The one thing that concerns me is I see alot of issues like blown fuses and little things. I know other companies have issues too so I guess its not something I should be concerned about.

Despite a handful of niggling issues that you might see posted in the Lounge, Emotiva amps are built like tanks with a history of high performance and reliability. And if you do need service, pick up the phone and be treated to some of the best customer service around.
I can't answer your question about the Pioneer receiver, except I believe it is a Class D design and the Class A, A/B, H amps that Emotiva offers are generally considered to be sonically superior. Try those XPA's; I think you'll like them. If you do, come back and let us know what you think.
Welcome and don't be a stranger!

Oh dude...their amps are rock solid. Your speakers are large. Buy what you want and then have a big big grin on your face. My UPA_2 hasn't given a single issue in service!
