It doesn't look as if much has been updated in the thread, lots of talk of the Denon receiver, not sure how some can obsess over a receiver so much, the best thing I did for my system was going UPA-1 power from my Yamaha's internal amp, was hoping to hear more on the XPA-2 with those speakers haha, oh well I know how much I enjoy my Emo amps , maybe soon I will have another one or two or three lol I find it interesting when I hear arguments for a reciever. Eventually one has to always come back to power amps if they want real performance imo. This is a case of the whole double blind testing...blinding the testing. All you get are results that state no major difference unless something big is out of whack. All contrary to what real world listening tells us.

The whole thing was pointless. Not to forget they also "tested" Audyssey against Dirac and figured you get pretty much the same end result which I personally have a hard time believing.
