Hi Guys
Been looking at Emotiva for a while, but I'm in Europe so haven't taken the plunge to order yet.
Just wanted your opinion about if I'd potentially get more out of my system with the addition of an XPA-5 to drive all speakers?
Current system:
Rotel RSX-1056 AV receiver (rated @ 75 WPC or 100 WPC-stereo mode)
B&W
805S fronts
HTM2S centre
DS8S surrounds
REL 201E subwoofer (200 WPC)
Low frequency cross-over is 80hz for all channels - so the amp and speakers aren't working as hard.
Do you think the 805S would benefit from an Emotiva upgrade?
Perhaps bi-amp the fronts and leave the rears powered by the Rotel?
Any thoughts welcome.
