Anyone have an experiences or opinions between these three amplifiers? I currently have the XPA-5, but looking to upgrade my two front channels, and add a couple more rear surrounds for 7.1. Any opinion/advice would be much appreciated!

Right now while the sale is going on I'd go for B-Stock XPA-1L amps. (Sercet sale, call in to emotiva, selling factory refurbs)

I have an XPA-5 also and just upgraded to XPA-1Ls for the front channels. The added headroom and precision of these amps is very noticeable. They sound fantastic on music.

I'll pick up an amp now, and save for the two new surrounds. Just trying to decide which direction to go with the front channels.

I have the XPA-2 and would have taken the APA-1L mono blocks except for my speakers. Low sensitivity would have resulted in them rarely staying in Class A mode. I am looking to get the SA-250 for my office 2-channel system and use the XPA-2 in my HT system.

The 1Ls bring a LOT to the party. Few people with anything BUT very low sensitivity speakers actually NEED more grunt and the feature set is terrific. Just carefully do an OUTLET count before ordering up. I'd heartily recommend a DEDICATED LINE and upgrading the power cords to at least 14ga.
