How to use Stealth DC-1 ad an HT Bypass.

I have the Oppo 103 connected to the Marantz SR7007 via 7.1 analog audio, and the SR7007 7-channel pre-outs to 2 XPA-1 and XPA-5. How to connect the Stealth DC-1 I have just added to the system so that I can play a CD from the Oppo as well as bypass the Marantz 7 channel pre-outs to the power amps? Which unit I should use to control the volume when playing a CD from the Oppo? Thank you!

Connect the optical output on the OPPO to the optical input on the DC-1 and use the volume control on the DC-1 to control CD volume.
