I don't have the Big Egos yet, so I guess I'll have to suck it and see. The Mutec has its own power source, plugged into 110/240 volts, so it should be OK. Cheers Gary Okay great! I'm sure it will work but always good to make sure. Let us know how it works out for you.

Hi there, how did you get the UCA 202 to work with it? Keep in mind I only did it to see if I could hear much difference in the DAC's, so it's was very much a temporary try out, not something I would do permanently. I only did it because that weekend I had an XDA-2 that I was setting up for a friend. The ERC-3 was connected to the Mutec using a toslink cable and the UCA202 was plugged into USB output of the Mutec. The RCA outputs of the UCA202 were then plugged into the FL & FR inputs on my XPA-5 (didn't have the XPA-1 L's back then). As a test of the various DAC's quality it was not a good idea, too much time changing the plugs/wiring. Plus the SPDIF to USB conversion further complicated the comparison. I only mentioned it in response to Boom's post as an example of using different DAC's with an ERC-3. Cheers Gary
