Yeah I know.... but it actually sounded exceptionally well balanced. lol Scott Aren't the tweeters way too high for that placement? I should clarify; I am playing with placement to try and make it sound balanced throughout the living room and the kitchen adjacent. (large kitch that is open to the living room via large pass through. Agreed that it would suck for those seated in front of them and ~14' back. I'm getting a ton of room gain and if I fix it for the room, I completely lose bass in the kitchen. Quandaries.... Scott

Most subs recommend to start a crossover at 80 and experiment REGARDLESS of 2.1 or 7.1 and REGARDLESS of how low your mains speakers go I have found that most systems sound best crossed ar 80hz The "THX standard" 80 Hz crossover point is a good starting point. However, when I dropped my full-range speakers' crossover-to-sub point to 60 Hz, the entire audio range cleaned up significantly. I got away with the 60 Hz crossover because my towers are flat to 32 Hz. (per the published manufacturer's hope list, er, specifications). So don't be afraid to experiment. The OP's Paradigms should be in the same category as my Axiom M80s on bass response, so don't be afraid to play. Boom

It was fun to play around to see the different results from a multitude of locations. Although I didn't move any of them more than a couple feet in any direction. Just the way the room is laid out and where the projector wall is etc. Scott
