Sweet!! Why is the back of the top right amp, appears to be an XPA-5, configured differently from the other XPA-5s. They all have 2-1-2 and it has 3-2-?. Maybe it's a 7.

Didn't realize they were making a 6. Interesting. They all have 7 module slots so it may be a 6!! hmmmm..........

Can they be bought in any config? That would be nice. And to be able to have modules added as time goes on. I would get one if they allowed that

At first glance I was like, hey, wait a minute!?!?!?!? First, the front screen lights up like and LCD or OLED? Then I realized these most certainly aren't plugged in. Emotiva just printed the protective film. DOAH!!!!! What a maroon! What a ning-cow-poop! Then second I was like, hey, is that my garage? Those are the exact same chrome storage racks I have!!! But then I realized I wasn't thinking straight due to all that power wattage flowing through my brain. They do look nice for sure.

Remember, 300 watt blades only cost $200.00. It'll be a very nominal fee for additions and shipping if you decide to re-configure. Also, your amplifier will be completely run through testing and burn-in when it is sent in for modifications.
Nice.
We are very concerned about others doing this, even though it seems simple, because of the very high internal voltages present and the need to properly QC the amplifiers after changes have been made.
Cheers, Big Dan

Can someone tell me what DOUBLE WIDE means see below. But what if you want a monoblock design like Emotiva’s Gen 2 XPA-1? Well, for audiophiles who want the purity of monoblocks, Emotiva will be releasing a high power, “double-wide” balanced mono-block module. The XPA Gen 3 chassis will be able to accommodate up to three double-wide modules. Each high power module will allow for an incredible +500 watts at 8 ohms. As you’ve come to expect from Emotiva both the double-wide and standard modules are stable into 2 ohm loads. www.audioholics.com/amplifier-reviews/emotiva-xpa-generation-3-amplifiers

It's a term that stems from double-wide trailer homes, where basically they took one trailer home merged another one next to it (width-wise vs. length-wise), and thus doubled the footprint of the home.
