Better Idea yet plug your Digital and Analog sources into one especially if it has great filtration, though some of the AC regeneration ones are choice though those are not UPS per se, but Line Conditioners. Your Preamplifier would do well on a UPS too. With computer audio being the rage, plug your computer into the UPS too. Until you get into high Joule Capacity line conditioners, plugging an amplifier into the wall is the best way. If Emotiva has some of the CMX line conditioners left, another great way to go too.

I mean I understand the whole power thing, but did you even look at the UPS I listed? It handles 1920watts and 20amp power. I am not sure how that would limit the power going into the amp or how something could provide more power.

My experience with UPS is that it introduces humm and or buzz into the system.

What type of UPS did this? Since that shouldn't be possible unless the UPS was bad. The UPS I listed isn't the same one most people would have in their homes.

Certainly there is no harm trying it in and out of,the system. You can see if it works fine delivering peak dynamics and so on.

The majority of those I know who have experimented with power conditioning for AMPS have found 'it sucks the life out of them'. The ONLY amp I ever owned which was OK with such treatment was my ancient Carver Cube. The power supply design was very unusual, which may account for the result:
