I know that CES tends to be a "show stuff off" without MSRP and stuff........ But I'd expect some actual product details by now. Was hoping that Axpona would be more of a release party than another "come see the shiny box on a table" event. By shortly, I was thinking, like days. Not months/years. CES actually had MSRP. Anything new product related I would *never* recommend hoping/anticipating it'll be days with Emo. They're just not that quick historically with new gear. Neither a negative or a positive, just historical data.

Neither a negative or a positive, just historical data. They did? I thought in the past CES didn't have MSRPs, that must have changed. I've never been to CES, anything I know is mostly from reading and podcasts. I figure it's about time for them to be released - because Emersa/BaseX, etc have been talked about for months now. I know their release process is slow... We used to get more information about progress - but there was too much "drama". Now it seems like "hey, there is this new product" and then then months later the next milestone is "shipping". In my mind, it seems like formally releasing them around an event like Axpona would make sense. But that's just me. It felt like the last podcast hyped up Axpona a little more than usual. Maybe it was just wishful thinking though. I seem to recall Dan referencing "summer" for when some new products were coming... So maybe Summer is the next big thing.

By the way, the BasX line looks nice. Clean designs that are generally consistent with the X-series gen 2 and 3 cosmetics. So, as Dan said previously, one could have some BasX and X-series gear mixed and it would look like it belonged together. Not exactly alike, but close enough. Mark BasX preamp $399 5 ch amp $499 The BasX look a lot like the UPA series. Big Dan was saying the preamp was very nice.

From the model names:
2-channel: 2x150W 5-channel: 5x100W
I hope at 8 ohms, but who knows...

Ok I'm game for pictures within reason. I mean don't get me wrong I may be a lil busy drooling over some things and I do have an odd legacy audio connection which I prolly won't document... But within reason is there some specific stuff anyone wants some photos of? New Legacy anything please. Would love to hear their new amps as well. Scott

Everything looks great, any price for the towers and sub? Keep it coming please. Sorry I left and didn't get the pricing but I believe they released the pricing info to the press previously. Overall it was a great display. They separated the huge space into 3 sections which was highly effective. The picture of the Emersa line and the new speakers were in the middle section. I think Emotiva had fairly decent traffic. The XPA gen3 with XMC-1 sounded very good. Unfortunately, they brought the Polk Audio speakers back which I'm not a big fan of. If the room used speakers like my Revel Performa3, it would have sounded much better and more high end - which is more fitting in this show with crazy priced audio equipment. Also, they needed about 4 more SVS SB13-ultra subs. Honestly, if they would have brought 4 PB13-ultras, the room would fill better with quality bass. The room is huge! Co-highlight is meeting Jessica again this year. She such a lovely lady and very very sweet. I'm still trying to figure out how she is related to Big Dan. The new slim and trim Big Dan! LOL. You guys should really check it out, if you are in the area. It's a very well run show. Emotiva was one of about 30 displays I visited, included extended listening periods at Focal and Revel/JBL speaker demos. The Salon2's are crazy good! My favorite room Seaton Sound didn't open their door in time much to my disappointment. They are so disorganized....Emotiva is like clockwork in comparison. Much appreciated since I don't plan on going there again this year.
