(I know there are other threads already about these new speakers. However, I'm so impressed with the photos (and due to some past posts about no more black speakers, but fancy wood finishes) that I felt compelled to offer a big nutty compliment on how they look. I presume when we get user and pro feedback the sound will be referred to as excellent also.) Kudos to Emotiva on the new speakers!
Congrats to Big Dan, Lonnie, Rory and all who helped design and produce these new speakers. I think all of them, the T1, B1, C1 and E1 look great! Time will tell after we get feedback and pro reviews how they sound and perform but I think they look super! That's a very attractive design, with and without the grill cloth! Nice work! emotiva.com/products/series/airmotiv

Thanks guys for the encouraging words. The Airmotiv passive product is really starting to take off, and we've already started receiving great feedback from customers about the looks and sound of the new Airmotivs, some of it coming directly via email from customers and other feedback coming via the forum.
I think that Big Dan, Lonnie, and Hair Nick did a great job with the industrial design on these speakers, following after the look of the Airmotiv line. The faceted look is popular among high-end speaker offerings, but it is unique at this price point, and it is a nice departure from the endless parade of low-cost, featureless rectangular boxes that have appeared since speaker manufacturers have realized the opportunity in building affordable speakers with better than expected sound quality. It costs (almost) nothing to give a bit more attention to low cost products and sneak in that extra quality, and I have a lot of admiration for that approach to the market.
I can accept that there are people out there who prefer other finishes, and there are plenty of places that you can pay more to have any finish you like, but within the mandate of bang for the buck, these speakers are extremely attractive for the money, and that's just my opinion, but I've seen a lot of things come and go since well before I entered the industry myself a number of years ago.

Got a pair of B1's coming tomorrow and will be comparing them to the Erm-1 and Erm-6.2s so I will let everyone know how they compare!

Was taken with the fact that the T1s have no name on the front or sides. The more creative owners should have fun with this... Seriously, one of the mundane reasons for pulling the trigger on these towers is because my Cavalier Spaniels like to "raise their legs" on speakers and subwoofers. The MMGs being replaced have suffered because their fabric front is at a dangerously low height and seems especially appealing to male Cavaliers (anyone interested in a well used and multicolored set of MMGs is welcome to contact me). By contract, the lowest speakers on the T1s are high enough to avoid damage and the outer case is easy to wipe off on both sides and front... ...but this is of interest only to you dog lovers.

I could not imagine my dogs peeing on my speakers. I am a dog lover but I would put up a gate or corral or something if that became the case.

Although they've never troubled my gear, I like to apply the Board of Education to their Seat of Learning when they would commit some similar type of sin. They have grown in their education and are rather learned now.
