I currently have 2 x PowerSound Audio 15" sealed subs in my room. I've been thinking about adding one of SVS' cylinder subs to the mix. Do you think this would work well?

SVS was designed by the same guy from PSA. So you could probably ask him. He is always live at his website.

I don't think it would be untoward because I'm sure he has a lot of customers from SVS too who probably have them both.

Subwoofers are the easiest type of speakers to match, because of the nature of low frequencies.

Since the SVS 13 Ultra can function as a ported or sealed subwoofer you could probably run it in sealed mode and has a good chance of blending it with your PAS sealed subs. Are your main speakers ported or sealed?

Yup, should be no problem and just require a little tweaking. Sub brands won't matter, it has to do with capabilities, and even with subs of different capabilities (unless they are massively different) all it usually takes is the proper fine tuning.

I did send a note to Tom V. and he thought they could be blended, with a little work. Not sure if I'll go that route, but keeping it in mind as a possibility. Thanks for all replies.

Placement is key over cabinet type, though 3 subs. Might be overkill.
I would exhaust placement alternatives with the "pair" Before going that route.

You know they pressurized the room very well; however, the crash scene in Flight of the Phoenix was by far the best and most extreme! I use that clip while auditioning my room. 👍

I'm running 4 15's and still looking to add 2 more of something, and for both the same reasons, pressure and the "because I can factor".
To the OP, be advised... The Third Sub, is a Gateway Sub... You'll Just Want More....
