New rear speakers. Good. Rewrired my surround and rear speaker cables. Good. Now it's time for a nice quiet Saturday morning to rerun Dirac on my XMC-1. Problem is that it's been a year since I've done it. Hope I remember how!  |

I just did the same thing a week ago as I changed my back/side surrounds with ERM-6.2's. DIRAC ran without a hitch on Windows 10, just make sure to "Run As Administrator". Oh yeah, good luck, but you won't need it! |

I bought a pair of Paradigm ADP-590's for the surrounds, and moved my ADP-590 v4's to the rear. Thought I'd rewire the surrounds and rears while I was at it with 12 AWG cable (it wasn't pretty previously) too.

Problem is that it's been a year since I've done it. Hope I remember how! You'll do fine no doubt. Rerun (LOL) .....I have not done ✅ the FIRST sweep yet and I've had the unit since October 2014. Been so happy with my second manual room correction that I have not been motivated to upset the apple 🍎 cart. I also have not done the update for the "highest " of high resolution audio files (rear USB). Bill |

You should be golden. I trust Dirac fine. On my Asus laptop which is a few years old running Windows 10. No issues.

I need to re-run mine as well. We recently moved to a new house and I went from 7.2 to 5.2,  But with the current layout one of the arms of the couch is directly in front of the left front speaker so I'm waiting until we get a new couch. Running Dirac on the wife's old Toshiba laptop running Windows XT took FOREVER. I'm not looking forward to doing it again. Maybe that's an excuse to get one of those sexy HP Spectre laptop's I've seen on TV. |
