I got new front speakers, GEt Triton Ones, and am finally all set up, ready to re-run DIRAC full. All hooked up, ready to go and I cannot get my username and password to "Validate". I don't remember, it has been a while, but it seems like I run into this every time. I requested a new password at DIRAC Customer Portal and it was supposed to be sent to me, but has not been rec'd. Course when I am ready to run DIRAC, there is no place to sit down, no place to really type from, and the program only lets me have around 30 secs to get logged on before it taps out. What is up with that? Give us a couple of mins please. Any and all help would be very much appreciated! Thanks, God Bless, Wayne

I have encountered this problem before, and the email I got from Emotiva said to reset my password on Their Customer Portal. I just tried logging on there again and this time I could. BUT there my email address is my user name. WHAT IS MY USER NAME WHEN I AM TRYING TO RUN DIRAC? My notes say it is my email address minus the @gmail.com part. But that is not working even though I "think" my password is OK. Any suggestions? Thanks, God Bless, Wayne

The user name for running the Dirac software is the username you created when you entered your activation code. At that time you were prompted to enter a user name and password (and it was SUGGESTED that you use your e-mail address for your user name). if you already had an account, you were prompted to select "existing user" and tie your new license to your existing user account. This is the user name and password that is associated with that activation code. The only combination of user name and password that will work with your Dirac Live for Emotiva software is the one that you associated with the activation code for that version. From what you describe, it sounds like you may have created ANOTHER user account on the Dirac website (either before or after the one you used for your activation). It is possible that you had an older Dirac account if you ever downloaded a trial copy of the software-only version of Dirac, or if you just signed up for one on their website. And, if you have copies of both Dirac Le and Dirac Full, it's possible that you created different accounts for each when you activated them (we recommend you add the Full license to your existing LE account). It's also possible that there's some sort of glitch on the server. Of course, passwords are case sensitive, and zero is different than the letter o (and lower case letter l is different from the number one). If you can't get it sorted out, your best bet is to call in - we can;t look up your password, but we can reset your account if all else fails. Thanks Keith, It is a long user name, and I can't get it entered correctly in time, or it is a glitch, always been problematic, but not working at all now. I have an email in to your support hoping to get it sorted out. Thanks, God Bless, Wayne

Glad you got it to work.
BIG HINT for anyone who doesn't type fast. (If you get timed out when trying to type something long and complicated, or if you confuse l/1 and 0/o.)
In Windows, COPY the long username or password to the clipboard (Ctrl-C). (If you haven't already, "write it down" into a text file or Word document that you can open on your computer. Then, when asked, move the cursor to the right spot, and PASTE it (Ctrl-V).
(I don't know the equivalent commands on a Mac... but they're there.)

On a Mac it would be (Cmd-C) for copy and (Cmd-V) for paste. Cmd stands for the Command Key.

Thanksd for that, but copy/paste did not work for me, that was the first thing I tried because my username/email address is long and I do not type well. Thanks though.
