My current setup is 5.1 all Klipsch heritage. I have K-horns as mains a la scala as a center and Chorus 1's as rears with 2 RW-1115 Klipsch subs. Currently I have a Marantz SR5011 AVR with the Emotiva XPA Gen 3 5 channel amp. I'm very happy with the amp and have heard nothing but rave reviews about the XMC-1 which is why I am interested in it. Just wondering if anyone else has ran it with Heritage and what their experience has been? Also how do you like the Reference stereo mode?
All input is greatly appreciated!

I do not own this unit but a friend of mine has all emotive gear with his Jamboree's, Cornscala's and tuba thtlp sub. The sound is absolutely phenomenal and that Dirac is the SH**t. I think he has all Gen x2 amps 5 and 2 along with the XMC and XPS. I'm currently looking for an XPA 2 and a XSP! I think you would love it if I had a HT setup I would have that in a heart beat.

Announced at CES 2017 - Forte 3 12" active 15" passive woofers 3-Way Gotta go hear these at dealer! This looks cool. I have always liked the Klipsch Heritage speakers and said many times I would like to have a pair one day. I spent many years listening to a huge pair of Klipsch Heritage speakers. Very impactful and very accurate reproduction. Link to klipsch community. community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/168080-forte-iii/

I started with Chorus's and ended with K-horns. In my opinion nothing beats the huge soundstage and as you said very accurate reproduction!

That's one ugly loudspeaker! Heck if you're going that route I'd go with JBL pro cinema speakers like the 3722 or 4722. If you want a threeway the 3730 or 3731 would do. From my experience those pro cinema speakers outperform Klipsch Heritage by a significant margin. www.jblpro.com/www/products/cinema-marketThe only other speakers I've heard that are more "dynamic" is the Danley Sound Labs Synergy Interesting thread about high sensitivity speakers on AVS www.avsforum.com/forum/89-speakers/1353217-speaker-shootout.htmlPS the 3722N can be had for around a grand each

I have the Klipsch Forte II which are obviously the baby brother to the Chorus - still use them for my surround backs but every now and then I bring them to the front. The XMC-1 is a excellent pre-pro and in Reference Stereo mode really makes the Forte II sing. I highly recommend the XMC-1 - you have a few options though. XMC-1, XMC-1 refurb and XMC-2. Also, there is an Emersa version coming soon which appears to be an XMC-1 lite.

The heritage is for in your home. If you wanna compare on a more even level let's bring in the Klipsch cinema line or even the jubilees

If you are looking to buy right now, the XMC-1 is your only choice. They are working on the XMC-2 and RMC-1 along with the Emerson pre-pro.

Another new item from Klipsch at CES is the S15. Blending timeless elements of real wood veneer, tactile spun-copper controls, a wide-baffle cabinet and mid-century modern design, the new Heritage Wireless The Fifteens powered large-format floor standing speakers completely redefine the audiophile experience. Featuring 180 watts per channel built-in custom amplification with a 192kHz / 24-bit DAC, 15” woofers and 1 3/4” horn-loaded tweeters – The Fifteens deliver auditory ecstasy. Including a built-in phono pre-amp, plus optical digital, USB Audio, RCA and Bluetooth® inputs– you can enjoy the purity of sound from virtually any source without the hassle of a complicated setup. A few years back, plans for various versions of what came to be called the "Cornscala" became available. This speaker is basically a cross of the Cornwall and the LaScala. The base reflex design of the Cornwall went lower than the LaScala while the big midrange horn of the LaScala is far more open than the small K600 in the Cornwall. Sort of the best of both. The S15 appears to be a 2-way version of this idea. It does include a bunch of other stuff that IMO doesn't belong in this size speaker. We can hope that a passive version of this speaker could be a replacement for the CWIII??
