Hello.
I have a XPA-2 GEN 2. I just found another one and plan on switching them to mono block.
Is there anything I should do for set up? Other than Left signal to one amp and Right signal to the other amp?
Additionally, is there anything I should not do or I should avoid doing?
My pre amp is a UMC 200 and speakers are JBL L890, but I guess you can see that below.
Thanks for your time!

Only to make sure you're connecting your speaker wires paying close attention to the "Bridged" polarity markings at the XPA-2's terminal posts (and the Bridged switch is set properly). Since your JBL's are 8 ohm, you're all set.
For those reading and may not be aware:
From the XPA-2 user manual... "Bridged Configuration Selector – Leaving this selector on ‘OFF’ keeps the XPA‐2 in standard two channel mode. Turning it to ‘ON” bridges the two separate channels into one, turning the XPA‐2 into a monoblock amplifier. NOTE: Bridged mode is meant for use with 8 ohm speakers. Using bridged mode with lower impedence speakers may cause overheating, causing the amplifier to go into protect mode (fault), and possibly sustain permanent damage."
