ANSWER Emotiva TA 100 $399 next question I guess you could sit your monitor on top of it. It would take up a big spot on a small desktop.

A TA-100 would be too big for most to have on a small desktop that is used for a desk for other things. There is no need to use a large piece of gear on a small desktop when there are smaller solutions. Nick, you would use a pair of XPR-1's for a dinner tray !

Your new system is a DacMagic XS , A-100 and a pair of B1's from your PC ? Are you building two systems by getting a Little Ego and a DC-1 ? You should get some Sennheiser HD 600 Open Back Professional Headphones. Buy used, one of the Amazon Warehousedeals. They are actually new and come packed as new for the lowest price you can get on these. They will blow your mind plugged into your BasX A-100 headphone amp ! The HD 600 or 650 have been voted best sounding headphone for 17 years and the standard by which modern headphones are measured. www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Open-Back-Professional-Headphone/dp/B00004SY4H Hello, I have A-100, Little Ego, and the B1s in right now (shown below). I am thinking of new ear/headphones - either the new (not released yet) Mezze 99neo or IEMs like MEE Audio Pinnacle P1. I use the DacMagic XS with my etymotic IEMs at work. I'll test the new ear/headphones with both dacs.

You need to pull those B1's away from the wall and give your rear port some breathing room.

You need to pull those B1's away from the wall and give your rear port some breathing room. Indeed. Was already thinking that.

Yes, may be too large for that setup. Perhaps wait for the DC-1 with matching monoblocks!! 👍
