I am wanting to upgrade from my Integra AVR to possibly the MC-700 to match with my XPA-5 amp. Eventually I will purchase the XMC-1 but for the time being I want to access 4K content.
I have searched Youtube, some forums and a Google search but find little information regarding MC-700. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

There is complete information about the MC-700 on the product website as others have pointed out. Also to get 4K protected material, you must have a 4k HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 compliant display as well as a 4K source. HI speed HDMI cables may also be required as older cables are not up to snuff.

Its a very nice unit and it pairs nicely with my LPA-1 since I swapped the silver trim for black. It does however have some growing pains and there are several threads on this forum addressing the issues.
Here is a list of some of the issues:
1. 4k handshake is a little slow but seems to be helped by using 4k premium cables. 2. CEC doesnt work but that may not be an MC700 issue. 3. ARC doesnt work (at least for me I cant get audio). 4. The Bluetooth module through the USB unpairs after a minute or two. 5. The input renaming seems to have a volatile memory. 6. There are not descrete codes for the digital inputs.
That's all I can think of from my perspective. Some of the guys using HTPCs seem to have some issues.
There is a firmware fix in process and I believe most of the issues are being addressed. With all of this said, it sounds fantastic and will be a beautiful addition to your XPA.

Absolutely true. HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance is a must for commercial 4K viewing. That is including for course you view method of choice. And lastly 4K source.
