Only having been introduced to Emotiva a few years ago, I am not completely familiar with all of their legacy items. I recently purchased a PT-100 preamp to use in my 2/2.1 channel music room and I really like the ability to switch between different sets of speakers. I am using my older Denon POA 5200 dual mono amplifier...which seems to do the job at the moment. The reason I like it is because I have the ability to use the switch for A/B sets without actually moving speakers. Hard to picture, but I have my Klipsch bookshelves mounted on articulating wall mounts next to the TV for a good center image for TV viewing, and my JBL's are what I pull out into the room when I want to listen to music.
Does Emotiva have a legacy amplifier that allows for A/B switching? I understand some drawbacks are possibly more noise in the signal path, but for my application I view it as worth it for the hassle. I just like to have matching gear...so it's essentially a vanity search at this point.
Any comments are welcomed.

Several choices for External A/B switch boxes. Be careful of 'rated' power handling, especially if you like it LOUD.

As leonski notes, there are a lot of options. I built my own switchbox to allow feed one set of speakers from either 1 amp or another. But, the very same box could be used to send 1 amp's outputs to 2 different pairs of speakers. It's just 3 pairs of binding posts run though 2 dual pole, dual throw switches with a center off position.

Ive used it for two different sets of speakers and on another occasion for two different preamps. Center dead of each three way switch is most important IMO!

With Multiple amps for ONE pair of speakers it can't be over stated to have a BREAK BEFORE MAKE system of switching. 2 'hot' amps connected to 1 set of speakers? It's got to be UGLY. Even if one amp was OFF, I have a bad feeling. The 'dead center' of a 3-way switch would appear to accomplish this. I have no desire to run this experiment.
With SS going from a Single amp to multiple pairs of speakers? Unless some combination of switching results in some wacky LOW impedance, or even a short, I can't see a problem.
Unless I could spec it myself I wouldn't get involved. Maybe 10 amp contact time delay relays?
