Morning all, does anybody know when the new Airmotiv Monitors will be released? Will there be any spec changes or is it cosmetic only...grill, power led, etc? |

I am unable to locate the thread, but I remember talk about them switching to class D amplification.

I was told by Emotiva staff they were going to be on the heels of the XMC and RMC releases so hopefully soon, also I remeber them going to have either an Auto on feature or a wired trigger connection.

Chad They will have a standby mode. The initial pictures of the monitors had shown them with red LEDs, which is what one sees when it is in standby. I don't recall if anything was said about a trigger, though. |

It would be cool to redo the powered monitor. Use the same ASC300 as used in the PA-1, (2X per speaker) cross it over about 350hz and have a mid / tweeter with conventional crossover.
Some additional functions to 'tailor' the sound....high cut / boost? LF cut / boost? Maybe a pluggable port?

Yeah a killer desk rig with a pair of PA-1s, Emotiva Subwoofer and your favorite desk speaker you pick and source and Preamplifier. Those PA-1s are my new favorite product of Emotiva along with the T2. RMC-1 of course is King. But so much cool around for all. I am curious too about the next chapter of the Airmotiv Powered Monitors saga.

Literally everyone that hears my 4's or my friends (x 3) 6's wants to buy a pair. So Lonnie KeithL Dan Laufman do I tell them to wait, that you have something in the pipeline, or point them in another direction ? Cheers Gary |

Really strange I went to the Emotiva site quickly to look up the A-150 and it was a bit different in the way you would choose what you were looking for and there was a "Powered Monitors" tab but now it's gone haha  |
