So since I don't believe there is such a thread here, and since I have a specific question to ask, I just thought I'd open it up to all Def Tech discussion.
Here's my current particular question that I also just posted up over on AVS. I'm not a regular there, so I thought people here might be more open to help me out.

I have had my basic Def Tech system since 2006 but just this weekend added a HSU VTF3-MK5 HP. I'm curious, how do most people run their set up? Do you guys set your mains to small or large? And how do you run your wiring? The built in sub speakers offer up some options that regular speakers don't have, so I'm curious.
Here's my speakers.
Front = BP 7001 SC (x2), currently set to large
Center = CLR 3000, currently set to large
Sides = BPVX (x2), currently set to large
Rear = BP2x (x4), currently set to small
Ceiling = DI 8R (x6) (purchased but not installed yet, but will be set to small)
I currently have my 7001's wired with both bi-wired speaker wires, and a subwoofer line in. For outputs that are only 2 channel, I have the processor set to large, no sub, full range. The idea here is that I let the finely tuned speakers (not the processor) do all the crossing over. For outputs that have multiple channels, I have the processor set to large, with sub, full range and main plus LFE. This again allows the speaker to do the crossing over, but it allows me to alter the sub volume from the processor.
I'm thinking my plan is to run one subwoofer output the same way I have it, to the 7001's, using a splitter 2 get 2 lines, and they will run in tandem. Then, run the second subwoofer output to the new HSU, so it can be dialed in separately.
Any input you can help me with would be appreciated.
Thanks --- Bonzo
