I have a xmc-1. have dirac le up and running and sounds pretty good. I am still having a little trouble with getting bass to sound great.. From what I read seems like Dirac full version may help? Here in Canada with our crappy $ upgrade is $135 or so and am wondering if it is worth the purchase especially since I really don't know what I'm doing with it. I know you can adjust frequencies but am not sure what to adjust them to. and if it will make the difference I'm looking for. I was using an Onkyo rz810 receiver a while back while my amp was being repaired and bass seemed much better with the receiver.I have since added another sub and at times it is real nice, other times it is underwhelming. sometimes the whole sound just sounds flat.. system goes real loud just not dynamic. as where the Onkyo sounded pretty damn nice. This is movies only...my 2 channel sounds excellent.
any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I replaced mic cal file and set subs to stereo and reran dirac and noticed a big improvement. (at least in the movie I watched) Once winter hits will get dirac full version as will have more time to play around and read up on how to use. )

I also think the full version is worthwhile, but I also believe in listening to your system flat once in a while to get a reference, it helps you understand what’s being changed, and if there were problems with your measurements.

My 2 subs are in front corners. Am I correct to set to stereo vs dual mono?

Generally - yes.
If your subs were NOT arranged symmetrically, then the only good choice would be Dual Mono.
However, since your subs ARE arranged symmetrically, you could use either.
There are slight advantages to using Dual Mono, so that would be my first choice.

Would I need to rerun dirac if I changed to dual mono?

As a rule, you generally only need to take new measurements if something changes -- you move or replace speakers for example, or rearrange your furniture, or add acoustic treatments. For your particular case, if the subs are equidistant to the main listening position, there should be no need to remeasure.
