Hi,
So when I turn on the back power button on my umc 200 it turns the front light orange ( stand by ) when I go to power it on it turns blue and goes right back off. I tried a couple times. One time it flashed something only to turn off again......Is it dead or is there anything I can do?

Update, The unit will sometimes turn on the blue panel and display 2 blue lines. At this point it cannot receive any input from the front panel or the remote and must be powered off by the back panel.

Any warranty left, seems like a call to Emotiva must happen.

Could be the power supply. My UMC-200 was flaking out until the PS was replaced after which it operates flawlessly.

Not sure how handy you are but a buddy of mine just had something similar happen with his Sherbourn Pre Pro. He did an inspection with the top off and couldn't see anything as far as resistors or anything having problems. He mentioned the ribbon cables and sent me a pic, he unplugged the ribbon cables and plugged them back in, making sure they were securely and firmly in place and everything powered right back up. He has not had any issues since. When I used to build control boards for presses I had several times where the ribbon cables edged out slightly and threw everything off. If you are so inclined, you may want to attempt that before sending it in. Good luck
