Has anyone got a shipping confirmation on the first batch shipping out? My card was charged $4999 on NOV 15th and still says unfulfilled. My first email to sales was the RMC-1 would be 2-3 business days to ship. Not trying to be a pain its just that I need to be home to accept this package and it takes serious coordination with my work to make that happen. Upon my second email after 3 business days of no shipping the reply was it "SHOULD ship tomorrow" (which is today NOV 20th). I seriously hope they get shipped today. Weird that the second batch is selling today before the first batch has even shipped. The podcast this month Dan said they were built and ready to go. I imagined labels kicking out of the printer and slapped on the boxes same day (a bit unrealistic prob..lol)....Just a little more info on the delay would be awesome...pretty please. .

Was a preorder. They didn’t want to call it that but it’s what it was
They weren’t ready to go. That was marketing. They are still testing them according to Jessica.
Launched on the 15th means they go out the door on the 15th

Chill out guys, if this was a order with Pioneer, Denon etc. You would be fine with it shipping 3 days after you ordered it. The problem is Emotiva is too transparent and we are impatient. I just preordered because I missed the first orders by 15 minutes.

Regarding 40% off discount cards...
Regarding the delay in $2,000 refund - Emotiva may need time to authenticate the discount cards. After all, there's 2000 excellent reasons why someone would want to counterfeit one... And with today's technology, counterfeits are certainly credible.
And what happens if someone with a legitimate card finds out that "their" card number has already been used by someone else? This whole scheme has "potential for disaster" written all over it.
If Emotiva had made the cards non-transferrable, then they could have easily checked to see if the claimant had actually purchased a prior processor. But since the cards aren't tied to any prior purchase, there's all sorts of potential for flim-flam. And if you bought a processor with a discount card, and a "second" purchaser has an identical card, Emotiva would need time to sort the mess out. So I can understand why they're delaying refunds.
Yes, it's an inconvenience for customers, but how many $2K refunds can Emotiva afford to give away?
Which brings up another issue for those of us holding supposedly "valid" discount cards. What if OURS are fake? Or what if ours are legit, but someone else has already claimed that discount with a fake card?
The more I think about this, the more tempted I become to just dump my card for whatever the market will bear and be done with it. But if I sold it on the Lounge, the buyer would come back on me wanting a refund. If I sold it on eBay, the buyer would come back on me via PayPal and certainly GET a refund. If the buyer were dishonest, they could keep my legitimate card & return me a fake. How would I know?
Now admittedly, this is the full "chain of worry," but Emotiva obviously agrees with at least some of my concerns...

My other from the purchase of the pt-7030 was on file at emo hq.

When I bought my 40% card...I had to call Emotiva and so did the seller to arrange the transfer. There were also some emails involved... I'm under the impression that they have a master list of card holders.
